• Dec. 15: School spelling bee. ⭐Please let me know if your child would like to participate so that I can get the list of words to you.

Tue., Oct. 13: spelling homework

Thur., Oct. 15: spelling trial test

Fri., Oct. 16: spelling second-chance test, reading vocabulary quiz, Bible memory quiz (all on the weekly handout).                                  

Due Monday, October 19: Tree mini project: Students will choose one tree and collect a leaf or two, maybe a seed, do a bark rubbing, and write a paragraph about it. They could add a picture, too, from the internet or one of the actual tree, if they want to.

They'll mount everything on a small poster board. This will count for both a science grade and a language grade (for the paragraph). 

I hope it will be a fun little project and not nearly as complicated as the literature fair board.  Below are a few that are in the children's science book.
