Announcements and Reminders

• Monday, May 15: Talent show at 1:00. Parents/grandparents are welcome.
• Thursday May 18: Camp Day. Students may bring a blanket and a stuffy.
• Friday, May 19:  Awards, presented in our classroom around 9:00. Also, End of Year Bash, 10:00-2:00. Students may want to bring money if they want to purchase anything from one of the food trucks. Parents/grandparents are welcome this day, too! Send me a message if you want to help keep an eye on the students with us that day.
• Monday, May 22:  last day for students!
• Please be sure that your child returns all reading books or any other materials that might belong to school or Mrs. Brammer.
• You may want to go into the class stories on DoJo and download any pictures there that you want to keep. I'm not sure if they stay there after the school year.

Academics this week, subject to change, as needed:  

• No homework this week.

Announcements and Reminders:

• May 8, 9, 10: SAT-10 standardized test.  Please make sure they get plenty of rest and eat breakfast.
• Thursday, May 11: Talent show at 1:00.
• Friday, May 12: Second and third grade afternoon trip to Fat Eddie's and the park!  I have all the permission slips. Remember to send money on Friday. 
• Friday, May 19:  School-wide end of year party!
• Monday, May 22:  last day for students!

Academics this week, subject to change, as needed:  

• No more reading homework for the year.
• Spelling: list 32.  Since it's testing week, there will not be homework.  I will have them compose sentences in class for a grade instead of a test.
• History test Friday.
• We will be having a little fun after testing, but we will still be doing work, right up to Friday, May 19.
