• Spirit Week: February 5-9.
• February 9:  pep rally at 10:00 AM, 3-hour early dismissal.

Academics this week, subject to change as needed:

• Reading homework this week: Reread science, pages 232-234
• Tuesday:  Math quiz.
• Thursday: Language quiz.
• Students need to know multiplication facts up to 7 x 12.
• Spelling words were inserted in take-home folders on Friday.  The schedule will be as normal:  homework Tuesday, trial test Thursday, second chance test Friday.
• Bible memory quiz Friday: Psalm 121:1

Week of January 22

• Second packet due back on Monday.
• Thursday, February 1: Young Writers entry due to Mrs. Brammer.
• Spirit Week: February 5-9
• February 9:  pep rally at 1:00, 3-hour early dismissal.

Academics this week, subject to change as needed:

• Anyone who did not do the quiz over Psalm 23:1-5 last Thursday will need to do it Monday.
• No reading homework this week.  Students will need to study for history and be ready for a math test.
• Tuesday: History test.  (The study guide was in the take-home packet.)
• Wednesday: Math test.  I recommend looking over workbook pages 153 and 154 with your child to prepare. (They'll come home Tuesday.)

Monday- Board Game Day (Dress up as a piece of a board game, a character, or the game itself) 

Tuesday- Role Reversal Day (Teachers as students and students as teachers)

Wednesday:  Anything but a Backpack Day with Crazy Socks

Thursday- Circus Day

Friday- School Spirit Day

• No school on Monday, Jan. 15: MLK Jr. Day
• End of the second nine weeks is Jan. 16.
• Thursday, February 1: Young Writers entry due to Mrs. Brammer.
• Spirit Week: February 5-9

Academics this week, subject to change as needed:

• Take-home packets are due by the end of the week. Another one will be coming, as these are intended to help make up for previous inclement weather days.
• No reading homework this week
• Due to snow days, there will be no spelling test this week. Instead, students will write sentences while in class on Thursday.
• Bible memory quiz will be offered Thursday, over Psalm 23:1-5. If students are not prepared, it will be offered again, most likely on Monday, as snow is expected again for Friday.
