I hope everyone enjoyed some much-needed time away from school. With only a little over three weeks to go until Christmas break, I'm sure time will fly! Our classroom now has a little Christmas tree, a Charlie Brown Christmas bulletin board, and more to come. The teachers have really gone all-out and the hallways are looking very festive!
Here are a few bits of important information:
⭐This Tuesday evening: Parent-Teacher conferences. Please reach me by email, Class DoJo, or by calling the school office if you want to meet or talk over the phone.
⭐Next Thursday, December 9: Christmas drive-through, 6:30-8:30 PM.
Academics:
- Memory Verse: "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." John 1:4
- Spelling: List 15. As usual, homework Tuesday evening, trial test Thursday, final test Friday.
- Language Quiz on Wednesday, mostly over proper comma usage.
- History Quiz MOVED TO FRIDAY. Since we were out for a week, it will be an open-book, classwork assignment that I will use as a classwork grade, not as heavily weighted as a quiz. There is, however, a big test coming next Monday! Please watch for the study guide in your child's folder.
- Please keep practicing those multiplication tables through 6, if possible.
