Announcements and reminders:
- Registration for Pre-k and kindergarten for 2023/2024 is now open. Also, reenrollment forms have gone home.
- March 16: end of 3rd nine weeks
- Friday, March 31 at 10 AM - Easter egg hunt at Brown Oaks.! We will need donations of stuffed plastic eggs from each family, please.
- Also Friday,: class Easter party in the afternoon
- April 3-10: Easter Break (Return on Tuesday, the 11th)
Academics this week, subject to change, as needed:
- Reading homework this week: Secret in the Maple Tree, chapter 7, out loud to an adult. Since students are reading entire chapters, they have the whole week to do it. Please initial the calendar in the folders when completed.
- Spelling: list 27. As usual: homework due Wednesday, trial test on Thursday, final test Friday. The list inside their folders has the words written in both manuscript and cursive, in case they feel that they're ready to write them in cursive. The students do not have to write them both ways.
- Language test Tuesday.
- History test Wednesday.
- Bible memory verse quiz on Friday: "Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." John 11:25
