Announcements and reminders:
- Monday, April 17: no school for elementary because grades 7-12 have a Soul-Survivor event at school. The campus will be closed to everyone else.
- April 21: 2-hour early dismissal
- Standardized testing will be May 8,9,10. (More on that later.)
- May 22: last day for students
Academics this week, subject to change, as needed:
- Reading homework this week: Secret in the Maple Tree, chapter 12, out loud to an adult. This is a change because I have decided to read chapter 11 to them on Tuesday, in order to finish before the end of school. Please initial the calendar in the folders when completed.
- Spelling: list 30. They will have homework Tuesday night (again, same words as last week), trial test Thursday, final test Friday, as usual.
- Health test Tuesday.
- Language test Wednesday on identifying adjectives and adverbs.
- Bible memory verse quiz Friday: ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ Luke 15:6 b
