Announcements and Reminders:
- Tuesday, December 12: dress rehearsal. Students don't need to wear their black clothes until Wednesday and Thursday.
- Thursday, December 14: Christmas play at 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Please bring them to school at the normal time. They will go back to the classroom after the morning performance, be signed out, leave their costumes, and be dismissed. Please have them back at school at 6:15 PM.
- Friday, December 15: The dress-up theme for this day is now "Favorite Christmas Character." It was switched with the 19th, which is now "Ugly Sweater."
- Tuesday, December 19: Class party in the afternoon. We'll play a couple of games and sip on hot cocoa while watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. We'll do a gift exchange by drawing names ahead of time, and the limit will be $15.
- Wednesday, December 20: no school due to the power company working on nearby transformers.
- December 21 - January 1: Christmas Break!
Academics (subject to change as needed)
- Due to play practice, teachers have been advised not to assign homework or give tests and quizzes this week.
- No spelling homework this week. We will be working with a list of Christmas-themed words, but they'll write sentences (open-book) on Friday in lieu of a test.
