Announcements and Reminders :
- Food drive going on all week. Students may donate $.50 and one non-perishable food item by Friday.
- March 19 - End of Third Nine Weeks PLUS an early out
- March 22 - Deadline for ordering yearbooks
- March 28 - Easter Egg Hunt, 9:00 at Brown House (We'll walk over), then pizza at lunchtime, then early out
- March 29 - April 5 - No school (Spring Break)
- April 8: Students return
- April 19 - Early out
Academics this week, subject to change as needed:
- Reading homework this week: Secret in the Maple Tree, chapter 7. Remember, this book is exclusively for homework and class discussion. They have all week to read it aloud to an adult, and the book may stay in their backpacks. I still need a parent to initial the homework assignment in the take-home folder, please.
- Students need to learn multiplication facts up to 9 x 12.
- Math quiz Wednesday.
- Health quiz Thursday. Study guide will come home on Tuesday.
- Spelling: homework Tuesday, trial test Thursday, second chance test Friday, as usual.
- Bible memory quiz Friday, John 11:26. (Verses are in the take home folder insert.)
- History test has been moved to next Monday. Study guide went home Wednesday.
