Announcements and Reminders :
- March 14: Pi Day (see image below)
- March 15 - No School (Teacher Professional Development Day)
- March 19 - End of Third Nine Weeks PLUS an early out
- March 28 - Early Out (Dismiss at 11:30)
- March 29 - April 5 - No School (Spring Break)
- April 19 - Early Out (Dismiss at 11:30)
Academics this week, subject to change as needed:
- Reading homework this week: Secret in the Maple Tree, chapter 6. Remember, this book is exclusively for homework and class discussion. They have all week to read it aloud to an adult, and the book may stay in their backpacks. I still need a parent to initial the homework assignment in the take-home folder, please.
- Students need to learn multiplication facts up to 8 x 12.
- Monday: science test (Students filled out a study guide last week.)
- Tuesday: language and math tests.
- Spelling: homework Tuesday, but since this is a short week, I will have them write sentences on Thursday for a grade.
- Bible memory quiz Friday, John 11:25. (Verses are in the take home folder insert.)
